Making a union piece for Citroën BX front strut leakage return/breather pipes.
A 53 mm diameter dent is bored into the head of a teflon bar, and a hole is machined in the middle of the dent.
The part is sawn off and a groove is made on the other side.
A 3 mm diameter hole is drilled through an m6 threaded bar, and the thread is machined off the other end.
3 mm holes are drilled holes are drilled to the cental hole, then widened to 4,8 mm except for a small bit at the end, and m6 thread is tapped.
A 5 mm bearing ball is inserted into one of the holes, followed by the threaded bars, and the part is put around the strut in order to see how it fits.
After checking the fit, a gasked is cut..
..and the part is fitted again for a leakage test.
